Vendor Insurance
All exhibitors, non-profits, and young entrepreneurs participating in the Aylmer Community Festival must have event insurance—no exceptions. This is a standard practice for similar community events. While many organizations already have coverage, we understand that some may not, and we don’t want that to prevent you from joining us! However, for safety and legal reasons, we cannot assume liability. As the event organizers, we have our own insurance in place to ensure everything runs smoothly, but we kindly ask that all participants secure their own coverage as well
Why Do You Need Vendor Insurance?
Vendor liability insurance protects you in case a claim is filed against you for bodily injury or property damage caused to the event host or visitors at your booth/site during the event.

What is a 'Certificate of Insurance' for Vendors?
A Certificate of Insurance is a document that proves you have active insurance coverage, along with the coverage limits. It helps event organizers quickly verify that vendors meet the required insurance standards for the event.

I Don’t Have Insurance – What Should I Do?
We recommend starting with your current insurance provider to explore options. You’ll need liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000 for the duration of the event (two days). This coverage will protect both you and the event organizers against any claims, damages, or losses related to personal injury, property damage, or other liabilities arising from your participation in the event.
